Each of our Viewing Coaches is assigned a room at the LAM museum and can point out a special detail that transforms a work of art before your eyes. They might take ‘transforming your perspective’ to the next level and suggest you get comfy and lie down under an artwork.

Our Viewing Coaches possess diverse backgrounds and are experts in different areas. One might be a photographer, the other a social media whizz, the next a cybercrime student. But don’t let their wisdom fool you: they’re simply special people like me and you. And most of our coaches aren’t art historians — you don’t need to be an expert to share the power of art!

We believe everyone — regardless of age — has so much to offer. That’s why we welcome special Junior Viewing Coaches once a year. These bright young coaches follow a crash course in ‘Transforming Perspectives’ to help you experience the works of art differently.
