Am I coloring within the lines or am I boldly going beyond them? Have I been sculpted, painted, drawn, or do I exist in bits and bytes? Do I make you hungry or am I past my expiration date? Will you find me in a pan or do I come out of the oven? In the May holiday of 2024, the LAM museum launches the art edition of the well-known game ‘Who Am I?’ at the enchanting Keukenhof Estate.

The game starts and ends with careful observation. Only then can you ask the right questions and give good answers. The person who guesses the artwork with the fewest questions wins the game.

Extra exciting: starting from the May holiday, we are redecorating an entire room to fit the theme of Identity. On display will be artworks where the human is literally visible, such as the video artwork ‘Fruit Machine’ by the artist collective Fallen Fruit, which turns out to be visually as addictive as a slot machine. And a contemporary variant of Vermeer’s famous ‘Milkmaid’ by photographer Katerina Belkina. Daniel Spoerri’s ‘Leftover Dinner’ provides a more abstract portrait of two people who have dined together.

A visit to the LAM museum always includes healthy fresh air. You’ll find us right in the middle of the beautiful Estate of Kasteel Keukenhof. After your visit, take a stroll around the castle, go for a brisk walk in the adjacent Keukenhofbosch forest, or do the gnome trail with your little ones. At our neighbors’ at Restaurant de Hofboerderij, you can enjoy your coffee or lunch under the trees.
